The Icebreaker

Updated · Version 0.1.0 · Update notes

What is The Icebreaker?

The Icebreaker is a final boss with a base health of 2900 and 4 phases. It appears on Mandatory Fun. It arrives at 16:00, and beating it wins the floor. Its health grows with the clock, the floor and your difficulty. Beating it pays three boxes and 25 PTO, and it counts for gear when the run ends.

"Tell us one fun fact about yourself!"

A longboat on a trailer ploughs through the offsite. Everything inside its ring, enemies and you, stops for three seconds to share a fun fact; frozen enemies are free hits, and once you've shared you are exempt for six seconds.

What does it do in each phase?

The Icebreaker changes phase as its health falls, using each phase's moves in turn. The telegraphed attacks mark the ground first, so watch the markings and step out rather than trying to outrun everything. Moves come faster in later phases. It also books itself nearer if you run too far away.

Where and when does it appear?

The Icebreaker is booked 1 time across the building. The table gives each floor and the time on the clock. Floors open one at a time, for one department, by winning the one before. Boss health is multiplied by the time it arrives, so a late booking is a tougher fight than the same boss early on.
