What is The Outage?

The Outage is a calendar boss with a base health of 1000 and 3 phases. It appears on The Legacy System. If it is still standing at the next booking, it leaves without paying out. Its health grows with the clock, the floor and your difficulty.

A power box with a dark lane coming out of it. The status page is green, the root cause is unknown, and the review is blameless, so the action items have no owner.

What does it do in each phase?

The Outage changes phase as its health falls, using each phase's moves in turn. The telegraphed attacks mark the ground first, so watch the markings and step out rather than trying to outrun everything. Moves come faster in later phases. It also books itself nearer if you run too far away.

  • Can't be hurt for 8 seconds: "Investigating.".
  • Marks a ring around itself, then sets it off.

20%Post-Incident Review
  • Starts a key sequence you must press under fire. Failing it hurts.
  • Heals 2.5% of its health: "Action items assigned. Owner: TBD.".
  • Marks a line, then charges along it.
Post-incident review!! Blameless!! The blame has been assigned to the lizard!!

Where and when does it appear?

The Outage is booked 1 time across the building. The table gives each floor and the time on the clock. Floors open one at a time, for one department, by winning the one before. Boss health is multiplied by the time it arrives, so a late booking is a tougher fight than the same boss early on.
