Gear and Stars
How does gear work?
Your Setup has 9 gear slots, and each department has 54 pieces of its own: one per slot at each of 6 rarities. Pieces do not carry between departments. Bosses drop them at the end of a run, one roll per calendar boss and two for the final, and a duplicate pays out in PTO.
Requested 2022. Arrived.
Every piece, by slot and rarity, is on each role page. Slots and sets are on the gear page.
What do the rarities change?
Higher rarity means a bigger stat budget. Standard Issue and Approved carry one stat, Expensed and Executive carry two, and Grandfathered and Legacy carry three. Odds improve at higher difficulty and on the final boss. The table shows the Normal odds per piece, worked out with the same numbers the game rolls.
Older than the policy that bans it.
| Rarity | Stat budget | Stats | Calendar boss | Final boss | Duplicate PTO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Issue | 1 | 1 | 40% | 28% | 6 |
| Approved | 1.6 | 1 | 28% | 28% | 14 |
| Expensed | 2.4 | 2 | 18% | 18% | 22 |
| Executive | 3.4 | 2 | 9% | 9% | 30 |
| Grandfathered | 4.6 | 3 | 4% | 4% | 38 |
| Legacy | 6 | 3 | 1% | 13% | 46 |
Odds are per roll on Meets Expectations. A final boss rolls twice.
How do stars work?
Each piece takes up to five stars, paid in PTO: 60, 135, 270, 510, 900, for 1875 PTO in all. Every star adds 20 percent of that piece's stats, so five stars doubles it. The price is the same whatever the rarity, so stars go on pieces you intend to keep wearing.
Stars cannot be refunded. Nothing here can be refunded.
| Star | PTO | Stats |
|---|---|---|
| ★ | 60 | +20% |
| ★★ | 135 | +40% |
| ★★★ | 270 | +60% |
| ★★★★ | 510 | +80% |
| ★★★★★ | 900 | +100% |
How do set bonuses work?
Each department has five sets, one for each rarity from Approved upward, and every set has a piece in all nine slots. Four pieces give a stat bonus and eight give a change to how something plays. Two sets can each reach four pieces at once, and both bonuses count.
Five rebrands, stitched end to end.
All 23 sets and their bonuses are on the gear page.
